Junior Landcare is about encouraging young people to actively play a role in ensuring the safe future of our environment. Landcare activities can be easily integrated into a range of topics within your school or be a part of other youth group activities.

What is  Landcare, and how can my school participate?

Landcare is the activity that groups of people do to care for our land and water. Some groups are on farms, some in schools, in cities or care for beaches. Landcare includes a wide variety of activities, depending on the local environment and problem and what the local group wants to do about them.

Junior Landcare Grants Program

Schools, organizations involving children or youth, and local landcare groups are eligible to apply for grants of up to $1000 dollars.

The Hunter Region Landcare Network presents its hugely popular and entertaining Puppet Show which can be hired for your community event, or you wish to create your own show
